In 2023, Conco was honored by the Gulf Coast Safety Council for Outstanding Safety Performance in the Environmental Services Category.  Conco also took home third place for Safety Excellence with the Greater Baton Rouge Industrial Alliance (GBRIA). In 2022, Conco won the “Best in Class” Safety Excellence Award (SEA) for the Small Environmental category presented by Industry Business Roundtable (IBR). Per the rules of IBR, winners are prohibited from competing the year following their victory, but are encouraged to participate as mentors to finalists instead. Conco’s Safety Department was happy to mentor and share their experiences with the companies in the running for IBR’s 2023 SEA.

2023 was also an exciting year with the completion of the acquisition of Blue Wolf Performance Solutions and its subsidiaries.  Blue Wolf subsidiaries include:  Aqua Drill International, Hennigan Engineering, National Heat Exchanger, Reliable Industrial Group and Hydrocarbon Filtration.  Since the acquisition, Conco has made tremendous strides in integrating all companies into one.  The addition of Blue Wolf to the Conco portfolio of services offers a single solution for reliability and pre-commissioning solutions including cleaning, testing, repair and engineering for commercial industries including power generation, petrochemical, refining, LNG, pulp & paper and food & beverage.

The integration of six companies has certainly had its challenges, but the team is working diligently, and I am proud of what has been accomplished thus far while also maintaining a stellar safety record.  We are very excited for what’s ahead and will continue to push for our program to become the industry leader in safety moving forward into 2024.

Here at Conco, We Live Safety!
