The Model 101 Fluorotracer™ Analyzer is a compact, easy-to-operate instrument designed to detect sulfur hexafluoride with sensitivity as low as one part per billion (1.0 ppb). Technicians utilizing this state-of-the-art equipment can perform inspections for condenser air inleakage and condenser tube leakage in addition to finding sources of dissolved oxygen. “On-Line” injections of SF 6 into a circulating water train allows the plant to determine leaking condenser tube bundles with the plant at full power, resulting in significant savings to the plant.
